Cancellation Policy
At Sapio Advisors we understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone's life. Homework assignments, project deadlines, family emergencies, car problems, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our students and out of consideration for our tutors' time, we have adopted the following policies:
- 24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to avail themselves of our services.
- If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will not be reimbursed for the cost of the tutoring session
- If you do contact the tutor or Sapio Advisors management prior to 24 hours, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment at a more convenient time.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a "no-show". They will be charged for their missed appointment and future service will be denied until a resolution has been made regarding why the session was missed. Arriving late
If you are not present for your scheduled session during the first 15 minutes (unless having telephoned the tutor that you might be late), then it will be construed by Sapio Advisors that you are a no-show. Depending upon how late you arrive, your tutor will then determine if there is enough time remaining to accomplish a tutoring session regardless of the length of the tutoring session. No refund will be given for time missed due to being late for the tutoring session.
Scheduling a Tutor
After you have scheduled a session with your tutor, they will be notified via e-mail and will contact you to decide on the location. You can decide with your tutor if you want them to come to your house or you may choose a public location such as a library. |
